To appeal a moderator's decision or action, you must first post in the 'Forum Appeals' section on the forums. This is not a discussion forum. The only participants in a thread are to be the opening poster and the Moderation Team.

The moderation staff will deliberate the issue in private and deliver an answer regarding the appeal within 48 hours. Only one appeal per issue is accepted.

Forum Warn System

Each member of the Project Terra community is afforded the following in warning and banning standards: 1st verbal warning, 2nd verbal warning, 3rd verbal warning, 1st warning, 2nd warning, 3rd warning with 24-hour forum posting suspension, 4th warning with 48-hour forum posting suspension, 5th warning with banning. Banning's are not permanent unless egregious violations of the Terms of Service occur or at the discretion of the game administrator. Violations of forum rules that surpass the set-up of the step system, e.g., consistent violations within a short span of time will be dealt with by temporary 24-hour posting suspensions.

Verbal warnings may not be appealed.

Forum Appeals

  • Formal warns which were issued more than Thirty (30) calendar days prior to the appeal may be appealed without evidence.
  • Formal warns which were issued less than Thirty (30) calendar days prior to the appeal must have evidence of being a wrongful warn to be successful.
  • If an appeal based on grounds of the warn being wrongful/unjust is denied, you must wait until Thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the warning to appeal it again.
  • Every warning requires its own individual appeal thread.
  • Verbal warns expire after Fourteen (14) calendar days and may not be appealed. While the verbal appeals will remain visible on your account, they will no longer count towards your total warn count after they have expired.

Being banned from Project Terra does not guarantee it will be permanent. Each case when appealed will be considered for retraction, so long as sufficient evidence has been shown that the user was wrongfully warned and banned or has lapsed in time enough to provide no cause for the banning to remain.

Permanent bannings for things such as offline (Real Life) death threats, stalking, child pornography, pornographic spamming, images/videos of acts of torture/death will likely remain that way.
