Forum password policy

3 posts in this topic

With the recent incident involving an account getting compromised, would it be possible to impliment a stronger password policy on the forum aswell as other safeguards as the game staff sees fit to discourage future incidents?

Also what would be the possibility of making Hacking of the game and forum against the terms of use punishable by a ban?

There was no hacking incident, it was a hoax and punishments have been handed out as necessary. At this time, there are no plans to implement stricter password requirements. If you feel like your password isn't strong enough, you are more than welcome to update your own password.

Hacking of anything is also unlawful use of a computer system and will be punished appropriately.

Moved to Forum Technical.

Also to elaborate a little on what Chris said, unlawful activity of any kind by users will result in an indefinite ban, in addition to whatever other measures are necessary, such as making a report to the appropriate authorities.
