DENIED: Forum Ban Appeal

4 posts in this topic

Ban reasons: 1) the "hoax" concerning me, President Marin and ScratchScreen

                        2) Ban evasion

Reasons for appeal: I understand what I've done wrong and why I was banned. I wanted to help the community, not thinking about the consequences. I've done nothing illegal concerning P. M. and his pw, but it was wrong to let ScratchScreen think I knew it and that I'd give it to him (in exchange for the TL's identity). The story was planned by me and President Marin together.

Also, on Jan. 29th, I saw the topic "The Truth" and decided to come back to Project Terra Forums. After my first ban, in november last year, one Moderator told me I'd be free to create a new account, and instead of choosing a new name I decided to come back with my old identity. I didn't look up wether this was correct or not, as I believed this mod.

I understand my mistakes and if you'd unban me, I'll take care they won't ever again repeat.

Warnings Received Prior: Yes, six during the last 4 days because of my ban evasion and the connected posts in the topic "The Truth".

Do you have any sort of record of this conversation wherein one of the Moderation Team supposedly told you that you could evade your ban by creating a new account? How was the conversation carried out; PM, IRC, etc.?

i don't remember the exact words, but he told me i could create another account

but the mod should remember it...

Everyone on the Moderation Team says no conversation where they told you that you could create another account ever took place. Given this, and the fact that you have no logs or anything other than your word to support your claim, there is no reason for this to be treated as anything other than simple ban evasion.

While I would have been inclined to lift your original ban, had you appealed it rather than creating a new account, ban evasion is not acceptable. It was not wrongly handed down, and as such will be in force for at least 30 days. 30 days from the date of your warning/banning for ban evasion, you may appeal again to have both lifted. You may do so on either your GovCyberlord or your Cyberlord account --but only on one of them.

This appeal has been denied.
