Should I continue CNC News?

6 posts in this topic

I had to temp. close CNC News due to my hard drive failing and all copies being lost. Now that I do have a new computer, I was wondering if it was worth the time and effort to redo my daily CNC News copies. Most people don't read them, and why would I keep spending so much time for a "dead community". But if a plurality of people want, I will continue and will be more then happy to do so. Just want your input, thanks.

Paul_, I think you should continue if you enjoy doing it, don't do it for the dead community, do it to enrich your PT experience.

I at times do, read them, and I do love them, but personally I've stopped because the community has died. However I'm starting to feel like I want to start it back up because it adds a new dimension onto the game, so I'm too wondering should I return or not.

I enjoy reading all the posts you guys have been making :P but like others have said, it is your decision.

Not worth it if you ask me currently, with all that time you're spending on them...you'd be better off just learning how to code and making your own game. :P

Feel free to carry on making them if you wish, but if your goal is to make them for people to enjoy, it isn't worth it until the community is back active again...if that ever happens that is.

Thats what I'm doing.  I got sick of the slow servers and no development.  I am slowly learning PHP, and MySQL, (just ignoring the stuff like Javascript, jQuery, and Ajax until I get further on down the road) :llama::det
